Terms of Service
Version v1 · Effective July 2026
These terms govern your use of Transfer Tunnel(the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What the Service does
Transfer Tunnel establishes a temporary, end-to-end encrypted connection directly between two devices so you can transfer files and messages peer-to-peer. We provide the software that helps your devices find each other; we do not receive, inspect, or store the content you exchange.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Transfer content you do not have the right to share.
- Distribute malware or attempt to harm recipients’ devices.
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Your responsibility for content
Because transfers happen directly between devices and we never see the content, you are solely responsible for what you send and receive, and for ensuring you are permitted to share it. Only connect with people you trust and verify the safety number shown on both devices before sending sensitive material.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Peer-to-peer connectivity depends on your network conditions and may not succeed in every environment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transfer Tunnel and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains the limited data we process.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version and effective date above and ask you to review the updated terms before continuing to use the Service.
